Langdon and Bentley

These two little guys are at the age where it is just fun to watch what they do when they get in front of the camera. Whether it’s getting big smiles out of little Bentley or watching old brother Langdon show off when it’s his time in front of the camera! Their little personalities shine through. It’s also quite entertaining to watch the two of them together. We got to talk a lot about farming and all sorts of farm animals. At only 2 years old Langdon already knows that green tractors are the best kind of tractors! It was great meeting the whole family and a fun evening capturing them all together!

Tatum – 9 days old

I am so glad I was able to photograph Tatum when she was only 9 days old! She was perfect during our session, falling asleep with just a little coaxing and allowing us to move her around however we pleased (except for her feet…. she didn’t seem to like where we put them very often)! Her mom and dad are good friends of ours and I’m sure that Tatum and our baby -to-be will soon be great friends too! During the session mom kept saying she was going to have a new favorite with every new pose we did, I know that there are a few of these images that are my new favorites!

The Hauger Family

With celebrating their 50^th anniversary, the Haugers decided that it would be a perfect time to gather the family and capture them all together. The family farm was a perfect choice as backdrop for these portraits and adds an extra meaning to the family. Summer is such a great time for family portraits. We had such a beautiful evening (minus the gnats) for this session. We also captured some of the individual families while we were out, along with some of their favorite canine friends!

The day couldn’t have been more perfect for a wedding. After a long spring full of cool days, Christine and Justin’s May wedding day was absolutely beautiful. These two are such a great couple. I wish everyone could have watched Justin’s reaction when he first saw Christine; he was so excited and happy to see her it was so sweet. It was an honor to photograph this special day and I thank Justin and Christine for giving me the opportunity. I wish the two of you the best in the future!

These three came in for some new pictures! The twins have learned to move very fast at a young age so capturing them together was quite a challenge! Big sister, Ella, is quite the character. Typical of any 2 year old, she took a little coaxing to get some smiles and once we did she was having a blast and couldn’t stop laughing!

This post is long overdue! These four came in before the holidays. These kids are always so fun to photograph. The girls had been playing “model” and walking down their homemade “runway” all day before this session so they were ready for the camera! Such a photogenic group of kids!

You will be able to tell by a few images of Creighten and his parents that these weren’t taken lately! The blog suffered a little neglect while I busy with completing sessions, cards, and orders before the holidays.

I was so glad to be able to photograph this little guy and his parents. His dad and my husband have been friends since they were little boys. It was fun getting to know Scott and Ashley, watch them get married, have a baby, and now watching the little guy grow!

These pictures are so appropriate for this family…reading cattle magazines!

Christine and Justin: Engaged!

As co-workers Christine and Justin certainly knew each other. But it took a trip to a concert in another town out of their work environment for Christine to notice something about Justin. She saw him dancing and after that insisted that he teach her how. They say that after one night of dance lessons the rest is history!

Christine and Justin, you are such a wonderful couple! It has been great getting to know you and I look forward to spending your special day with you documenting your love. And I will be expecting to see those dance lessons put to use in May!

I love when clients have their own ideas of something they want to do during their session. Christine and Justin had this great idea about an image of their boots. I think we all love how the image turned out!
